Lake District duo Aquilo have been one of the more consistent electronic-pop duos of the past couple of years, with their atmospheric early singles like 'You There' still finding a regular place on our playlists. With that in mind, Tom Higham and Ben Fletcher posted a new track which sees them veer into new - but still terrifically poised - territory this week. It's called 'Good Girl' and the sobering, sprawling synths have been supplanted by a pogoing bassline and cantering beat. There's still a trademark warming undertone to it, but 'Good Girl' feels more at home in the club than looking up at a starry sky pining for a lover like the Aquilo of old. - DC
